Mr. Emmanuel A. Korang

Mr. E. Appiah-Korang was born on July 16, 1945 and holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from University of Illinois, USA.

He is an Energy and Management Consultant with varied experience in Public and Private sectors. He retired in 2010 after 35 years of professional work in USA and Ghana for American Oil Company, Tema Oil Refinery. Ghana Supply Commission and Ghana National Petroleum Corporation. He has served as Minister of Energy and Minister of Works and Housing. He has served on a number of Boards including Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, Ghana Grid Company Ltd. and some Advisory bodies to Government on Energy. He has been Chairman of Board of Governors of Ofori Panin Senior High School and St. Paul Technical School all of Kukurantumi.

He currently serves on Board of Vanguard Assurance, and is the Chairman of Ghana Bauxite Co. Ltd. He is the owner of Intertech Services Limited which specializes in projects development. Intertech is a joint venture partner in Trellidor Ghana Ltd. He is a Shareholder/Director of Queensland International School, Tema.
